Continuing yesterday’s Julie Ordon related posts… Here is yet another hair and make-up style I really love and yes, this is Julie again – I just love her.
Next time I see my hair stylist I am definitely going to ask him how to create this Parisienne-style hair-do. I realise that this style, apart from the obvious girly pretty ribbon, involves plenty of combing and generous amount of hair spray, but this is as far as I can visualise the work behind this beautiful bun.
I also adore the natural rosy make-up and the chic “kitten flick” eyeliner. I found a brilliant video tutorial here – the result is a bit more dramatic than the photo above, but you can certainly learn how to do it and also create a gorgeous Kate Moss style look from her latest Dior commercial.

I love this so much!! Love her hair colour as well, it's such a perfect mix of dark and light blonde. <3
ReplyDeleteОх, как же мне нравится!!! Очень, очень, очень!
ReplyDeleteI love the luminous make-up and that hair-style. Must try both! And I agree with Christine: the hair colour is so beautiful and in such a lovely contrast with the black details and outfit! :)
ReplyDeleteFluffy hairdos. Isn't it just so so Diorish lovely?!

Ah, so romantic and feminine. I adore that picture. So beautifully captured in sunlight.
ReplyDeleteI love hair like that, I am really channelling that look right now... ever since Black Swan came out, I have wearing lots of pretty buns, they look amazing and so easy too! Love the kitten flick black eyeliner too, I have just bought the Bobbi Brown liquid eye liner pot to do this, it is amazing. Love your blog btw, I am following, follow me too?? xx
ReplyDeleteWoo those tutorials are really great. One thing I love about the eyeliner in "kitten flick" style is that is required very little on the rest of the face for such a dramatic look. I think I'm going to try this bun too - on a straight hair day (my curls are already that messy!) but it's perfect for the humidity in NY right now)
