7 things about me

bruno_dayan_2

I’ve recently received a Stylish Blogger award from Allie of Desire*Design*Delight – thank you so much for thinking of me, darling! This is, actually, a very special award because it was created by Evi who I adore to pieces.

According to the authorities, the "rules" are to:

  • Link back to the person who awarded you
  • Share 7 things about yourself
  • Award 10 great bloggers
  • Contact those bloggers and tell them about the award

And so it’s time for me to share 7 little facts about myself…

I bought my very first issue of Vogue in November 2001. Purely because Linda was on a cover and I’ve always loved her.

I’ve graduated from music school and play piano. Although I think I’d need a bit of practice now.

I love cooking. I can cook pretty much anything, but I adore making desserts and risotto. I am famous for my muffins, crème caramel and Tiramisu gateaux cake. At the moment I am learning to make macaroons.

I love travelling and staying in hotels because, as I’ve always said, when your life is packed in a suitcase you get the best picks.

I love dogs and absolutely adore my little cocker spaniel, he is my baby.

To my husband’s horror surprise I sometimes drink milk from a bottle.

Books are one of the essential elements of my life. I cannot imagine myself without my little library. I've got this from my mum. My parents always encouraged my love for reading and bought me as many books as I asked for. I remember I’d always get a book a as a birthday present. I had a massive bookcase filled with my own books, but very few toys. I used to read anything and everything I could find in a house. These days I have a few absolute favourites including Nabokov's Lolita, Françoise Sagan, Paolo Coelho and Bulgakov, Russian poetry and other Russian classics (but I don't like Dostoevsky). I also love reading fashion and recipe books.

In my turn I would like to pass this award onto these stylish ladies:

I hope you won’t mind accepting this award and the fact that I’ve created some home work for you, my darling girls.

  3. Congrats my friend and what a wonderful surprise, thank you so much for this lovely award!! I'm so flattered that you chose me!! I loved reading these facts about you in this very clever, stylish, and beautiful way. I am beyond impressed that you graduated from music school and play piano. I think music is one of the most beautiful of all the arts, and I have the most utmost respect for those who have studied it. I took vocal lessons for 6 years, and so music is extra special to me and close to my heart.

I am terrible at cooking, haha! My husband does all of the cooking but has not experimented with many sweets. You have me wishing I could try your muffins and crème caramel cake! I too love traveling and staying in hotels (might be obvious :) and this photo you have provided is just beyond amazing! What a sexy lady and what beautiful luggage! :) I absolutely adore adore dogs.... I'm beginning to realize we have a bit in common!

Thank you again so much for sharing this award with me. I can't wait to post it!

    xoxo

  6. I loved reading these facts about you! We actually have a lot in common, because I love to cook, travel, read and I'm definitely more of a dog person. I also played the piano (did all the exams), but I haven't had a piano in a few years, so I'm probably awful at it by now.
